The Crown Hotel is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Women of the Clarence Awards (WOTCAS), a premier honours program dedicated to recognising the leadership, resilience, and talent of women across the Clarence Valley. Everyone is invited no matter the gender!

EMPOWERING THE HEART OF THE VALLEY

The Clarence Valley is home to a diverse tapestry of women who drive the local economy, anchor community organisations, and mentor the next generation. The WOTCAS were established to provide a formal platform to celebrate these often-unsung heroes. By spotlighting their achievements, The Crown Hotel aims to foster a culture of appreciation and inspiration, ensuring that the contributions of women, from the coast to the hinterland, are etched into the region’s history.

“This isn’t just about an award; it’s about visibility,” says the event Sylvia Duggan. “We want to highlight the incredible impact women have on our social and economic fabric, encouraging a stronger, more connected community for everyone.”
